Our shoreline is very different. Your photographs make me want to come and see for myself, can it be done in a day from London? If so, we will take a day trip during our next visit to our daughter.
Hi - yes, very easily indeed. Hour and a half's drive (depending on where in London you're starting from, of course). Check the tides though (see my 29 Sept posting!). Drop me a line when you're on your way and I'll put the kettle on!
We have three visits planned to see daughter and son-in-law who live in north London - one in late November, next for birth of first grandchild in March and then a longer visit to look after said baby for two weeks in mid-July. I'll put the Mersea trip on the list of places to visit and let you know when it will be.
