Which all made for an exceptionally pleasant afternoon.

Having only recently discovered your blog, can I just say here and now how incredibly jealous I am of your afternoon off? Those pictures summed up exactly what I would have my eye-teeth to do yesterday. Instead, here I am, in the office. Bah.

Kirsty - Hi - don't be too jealous, it was a rare enough event and I'm chained to my desk again today. The Wigfall leapfrogged straight to the top of my TBR pile and the first story (which is as far as I've got) certainly didn't disappoint. I've a huge backlog of books to review, but I'll post my thoughts about it here soon.

I don't know if i mentioned in a previous comment but i was a professional photographer for over 12 years before i lost my studio, even though i'm a serious book addict i come to your site to see your pictures. I love the play by play of your day you share with your readers and so much in envy of you to have such beautiful scenery. I love the pictures you take for your viewers.

Photoquest - thanks - it is most flattering that you give my photos a second look, since, as I often make it clear, they are merely 'point, click' pics taken on a very primitive camera (and sometimes mobile phone).
