Hooray! What could be nicer? For Mothering Sunday, along with some beautiful lilies and alstroemeria, and some sweet-peas for the garden, my children gave me Alexander McCall Smith's latest Botswana novel - The Miracle at Speedy Motors!
An astute choice. They know they won't be hearing a squeak out of me until I've finished it - so none of this kind of thing for a day or two!
I only wish I could take Monday off work so I could snuggle down and read it all in one go.
