Wonderful. I keep hoping to see "The Cuddy" from Fortnight in September...

For once our weather and yours was in harmony, Juliet. But how much would I have given to have been sunning myself in front of one of those beach huts?

And I've done a bit of poaching, I'm afraid. No beach or beach huts here but there is a rather splendid hill . . . THTA.

Variety is the spice of life when it comes to beach huts, in my humble opinion...a nice series of pictures, the 13th down (red and yellow) belongs to my Mum & Dad.

That is one awesome set of photos. I can't put a finger on it - but the repetition, the angles, the colors, the color of the sky, the repetition - awesome.

What exactly are those wonderful buildings? A commenter said, beach huts. Tell me more. Do people own them? Are they just to use as a changing space? I have seen photos of such things, but I don't know anything about them and how they work. Great, great photos!

Beautiful - and how nice the weather looks. We are having the equivalent sort of day today over here on the east coast of the other side of the pond. If you didn't look at the trees (but only at the clear, blue sky) you might be able to fool yourself into thinking it was still summer.
